DuPont

Everyone has a seat at the table in the Global Collaboratory. The Kevlar brand is reinvented with a film series titled, Dare Bigger. And DuPont shows how they are contributing to solving the world’s food, energy and protection challenges with an award-winning mini-documentary series shot around the world that aired on BBC. Plus, an award-winning experiential installation in Mumbai.

Campaign for TiPure, an ingredient in paint that provides ultimate single-coat hide, no matter what’s on your wall.

Campaign for Nutrition & Health. When it comes to freshness, “What goes into your partnerships is as important as what goes into your food.”

Bud Light

Two castaways find themselves shipwrecked on a deserted island. They only have each other and cases of Bud Light. Is it paradise? The commercial was shot “on spec” and presented to the president of Anheuser-Busch. He bumped the commercial that was set to run which was produced by Bud Light’s ad agency, replacing it with this one.

MERCEDES-BENZ

A campaign to celebrate all we loved about summer when we were children, only now as adults. A carnival, in the middle of nowhere with a dreamy mystique and rides only Mercedes can offer. This commercial was directed by Academy Award winner, Guillermo del Toro(Pan’s Labyrinth, The Shape of Water)

The first hybrid sedan in the U.S. from the luxury car maker. Voiced over by actor Jon Hamm

Never too early for kids to eye their parents’ Mercedes — especially given the 100k-mile warranty it comes with.

Mercedes print was one of my favorite things to write.

It is a brand made for writers’ writers.

SONY

We created a trinket and novelty shoppe on the streets of London and called it Joy, Mirth & Merriment. But it’s no ordinary shoppe — it’s more like a portal to what’s next. See the surreal…in a place called Sony.

NBC News | MSNBC

The most chaotic news cycle in a generation, and NBC/MSNBC soared to all-time ratings. Rachel Maddow became the #1 news show on prime time. And the first Meet the Press Film Festival was created to commemorate the longest running show in the history of television (70 years).

Print ad created for New York Times to run day after election. The country was at a loss for words, so the ad did not need words.

The best print allows the viewer to close the loop. This simple print ad in WSJ honored our anchors on International Women’s Day.

FM Global

My writing. My voice over. And one incredibly trusting client helped Ogilvy launch our client’s first-ever global advertising campaign, complete with a 2-minute video and interactive microsite. I wanted the print to feel more European fashion than commercial insurer.

Signet Jewelers

The world’s largest diamond jewelry retailer — parent of Kay Jewelers, Jared, Zales and Blue Nile — has become a Purpose-inspired company, focused on Inspiring Love and helping to make the world a better place for every one. Only love can do that, and only jewelry has the ability to symbolize that love in meaningful, enduring ways. Videos below were written and directed by me. The “Love Inspires” video is my voice over as well.

I worked with Natural Diamond Council to secure this co-branded campaign for Signet the first of its kind to inject Signet into the conversation of responsible sourcing and the good that diamonds do in the world. (Giving a shout to Natural Diamond Council for all they do.)

Miscellaneous Creations

Some one off commercials, videos and print pieces.

New York City Tourism

An effort to bring the Olympic Games to the five boroughs in a pitch that only New York can make.

Accu-Serve

Inducted into the Museum of Modern Art, this commercial is for a small mom-and-pop copier repair service. It was also awarded the Grand Prix at the New York Festival Awards.

GE

Imagination at Work was the brief handed to the entire creative department of BBDO NY. The challenge was to show a way GE was bringing that mantra to the world. We had twenty-four hours to submit ideas. This animation won.

Bank of America

One of my favorite ads I wrote while running Bank of America. Smart, quiet and thoughtful. The music from Pull is a perfect complement.

NFL (youth)

Youth Football (Pop Warner) isn’t about the hits you make, or the end zone dances you do; it’s about confidence and character — traits that last long a ref’s whistle blows.

Difficult to pick my three favorite print pieces, but I tried. A celebration of the Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastoga, NY; a gin ad featuring my hero, Hemingway; and an award-winning ad for the National Ad Council.
